Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol used as a low-calorie sweetener. It appears as a white crystalline powder with a clean sweet taste, approximately 60–70% as sweet as sucrose, but with almost zero calories. Erythritol does not affect blood glucose or insulin levels, making it an ideal sugar substitute for low-calorie, sugar-free, and diabetic-friendly products.
